How To Plan The Best Birthday Party Ever – Bowling Style!

There are thousands of ways to give your kids (or yourself!) the best birthday party ever this year—so why settle for the same pool party and park full of puddles when you can come to Pin Chasers and set up your very own bowling extravaganza?

At any of our bowling centers, we make it easy for you to plan any type of party, but why stop there? We’ll help you get creative so your friends will be talking about your party for weeks after.

Don’t get stuck with boring decorations and party favors—do something different!

Bowling Pin Bottles

We love these little bowling pin bottles and they’re so easy to create!  Here’s what you’ll need to create these “pin” bottles:

  • Washed and dried clear beer bottles (one for each guest is ideal)
  • Ribbon (red works, but feel free to use whatever color you like)
  • Decorative straws
  • Patterned construction paper
  • Craft scissors
  • Designed labels (optional)

Once you have the materials assembled, cut the ribbon (like the picture) to glue around the neck of the bottle. Cut your patterned construction paper to your desired shape and glue to the front. If you’re good with designing, you can use a printable label to paste on the front.

If you’re opting for something fun and different but a little easier try using simple milk bottles. Since the days of having milk delivered to your doorstep are long gone, use empty bottles from Starbucks Frappuccinos. They still look like pins but take less time to make. All you need is ribbon, decorative straws, and cookies, of course!

Cake Pop Bowling Balls

If you want to get extra fancy, cake pops are always a huge hit and Cakes Plus Tampa is a great local bakery that can help to assist you with a personalized bowling cake pops.

Giving your bowling birthday party a theme will elevate the party and cake pops can be created to match any theme.

Bowling Balloons

Another great idea for a kid’s birthday party is the use of balloons. Grab a package of colored balloons from your local party store and circular stickers to attach onto the balloons for the finger holes. Kids will have a blast and can even take home some of the balloons when they leave so you’re not stuck popping all of them.

Our advice would be to use a couple of different colored balloons and create bundles of bowling ball balloons for a fun and colorful touch.

Memory Makers

Last but not least, create lasting memories at your party and give you or your kids an activity or something to remember it by, such as a picture frame with surrounding whitespace for everyone to sign. Have the guests write down their favorite memory from the party, and be sure to snap a group shot before everyone leaves to put in the frame.

You and your kids will remember who you hung out with for years to come.

The most important thing to remember about having a birthday party at Pin Chasers is we’ll do all the work for you! Whether you choose to bring your own decorations or simply enjoy the bowling center decor— we’re here to assist you every step of the way.
